Accenture adquiere BOSLAN para ayudar a sus clientes a optimizar sus inversiones en infraestructuras para la neutralidad en emisiones

Bilbao, 2 de agosto de 2024 - Accenture (NYSE: ACN) ha adquirido BOSLAN, compañía experta en la gestión de grandes proyectos de infraestructuras, con sede en Bilbao. Con BOSLAN, Accenture reinventará los servicios de ingeniería y la forma en la que los clientes ejecutan los grandes proyectos de infraestructuras para la transición energética. Al aplicar inteligencia artificial y otras tecnologías digitales al ciclo de vida de los activos, Accenture y el equipo de BOSLAN buscan mejorar el retorno de las inversiones y acelerar la neutralidad en emisiones de carbono de sus clientes.

BOSLAN ayuda a sus clientes a diseñar y supervisar la construcción de infraestructuras para lograr su transición a la neutralidad en emisiones de carbono, como parques eólicos terrestres y marinos, plantas solares, redes inteligentes, infraestructura de carga de vehículos eléctricos y plantas de hidrógeno. También apoya grandes proyectos de infraestructura de centros de datos, y otras infraestructuras críticas. Los servicios de BOSLAN incluyen, entre otros, estudios de viabilidad, planificación de proyectos, control de costes y calidad, negociación y gestión de contratos, revisiones de diseño, asistencia en la compra de equipos y supervisión de trabajo de campo. Los clientes de la compañía son empresas privadas y organizaciones públicas que trabajan en las industrias de energías renovables, petróleo, gas, redes, centros de datos y otras infraestructuras públicas y privadas.

BOSLAN aportará a Accenture más de 1000 ingenieros expertos en la dirección de proyectos, la mayor parte de ellos en España y Brasil. La compañía también está presente en Portugal, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y México. El equipo se incorporará al área de infraestructuras y capital projects de Accenture, dentro de la unidad de negocio de Industria X.

Con la adquisición de BOSLAN, Accenture continúa ampliando sus servicios para ayudar a los clientes a ejecutar sus grandes proyectos de infraestructuras de una forma más predecible y eficiente. La adquisición de BOSLAN es la primera que Accenture realiza en Europa en el ámbito de los proyectos de infraestructuras, donde la inversión para la transición a energías limpias alcanzó los 320.000 millones de euros en 2023¹. El año pasado, Accenture adquirió Anser Advisory en Estados Unidos y Comtech Group en Canadá, para aprovechar el mercado anual valorado en 82.000 millones de euros en Norteamérica.
